After nearly 2 years, the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport has landed another new carrier which has made a name for itself as the ultimate Ultra Low-Cost Carrier airline out there. With 5 bases, including their recently announced new base in Raleigh, North Carolina [Raleigh/Durham International Airport | ICAO: RDU/KRDU] Avelo Airlines (ICAO: VXP) Joins the roster at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport
The airport has been in talks with Avelo for two years, since the start of Avelo, to bring in new options for customers not only in New Hampshire but for the New England area in General, as Avelo's second destination in New England.
The CEO of Avelo stated that "We wish to emulate New Haven, and if successful, we would like to expand to more destinations from Manchester", remarking on how New Haven, one of Avelo's first East Coast hub became a success for Avelo.

Raleigh, North Carolina will be the newest destination from New Hampshire, and the second destination in North Carolina to connect people from the Carolinas to New England. Raleigh is known for its tourism in the city and is part of the Research Triangle in the state of North Carolina.
Avelo Airlines is slated to start service to the Queen City on June 21, 2023, with flights on Sundays and Thursdays, where the airport and airline hope to potentially increase service or offer potential new markets if successful.
Avelo has already paid the airport a surprise visit on March 21, 2023, bringing in a sports team, and is the first time their aircraft have "officially" landed at the airport, which in itself has increased excitement as this was the opportunity for the airport to have a first time look at the new airline up close.

Flights are already on Sale on Avelo's official Website, and tickets begin at just $39* One way. Avelo will be the airport's fifth airline and newest airline since Spirit started in October 2021 and will be the first time in a while that the airport has hosted five carriers since the early 2010s.
